Brendan  Mc Donagh  Records  Second  8Ball Title On Tour

Brendan Mc Donagh (Tyrone) claimed his second official ranking tournament title on Ireland’s Pub Players 8Ball Pool Tour last weekend with a 6-2 victory over Daniel Gorman (Antrim) in the final of the Co. Armagh Open 8Ball Championship .

Brendan took the title with a classy display throughout the tournament at Vintage Bar & Lounge venue Lurgan which included a 5-0 defeat of Ireland’s international player Gavin Geraghty (Meath) in the semi-finals.

On route to victory the Tyrone player who went into the tournament as the number 4 seed overcame the challenges of Martin Kavanaugh (Armagh, 5-2), Paul Heaney (Tyrone, 5-3), Lee Booth (Tyrone, 5-0), Gavin Geraghty (Meath, 5-0) and Daniel Gorman (Antrim, 6-2) to claim the title.

This was another fantastic performance from the Tyrone and Dromore  player which sees him move up into number two position in the tours official rankings sitting on the same points as Manny Byrne (Down) with only 12 merit points separating the difference.
