Major Premier Event Title For Mc Bennett

Alan Mc Bennett (Cavan) 2007 Irish 8Ball Masters Champion.....
Alan Mc Bennett made history back
in May by winning the very first official ranking tournament staged by Ireland’s
Pub Players 8-Ball Pool Tour and he now becomes the first player to record
two title wins on the tour………

Four semi-finals LtoR:
Damien Corrigan (Tyrone), Stephen Dempsey (Cavan, runner-up),
Alan Mc Bennett (Cavan, winner) and Gavin Geraghty (Meath)
The Co. Cavan inter county player
added the Irish 8Ball Masters title to his Ulster Open championship by defeating
his good friend and current European 8Ball Pool Champion Stephen Dempsey in
the final on a 6-4 score-line at the Coach Inn venue Omagh……
Alan also recorded other great
results on route over Tony Corry, Gareth Quinn, Brendan Mc Donagh, Gavin Geraghty
and then Stephen Dempsey in the final to claim the 2007 Irish 8Ball Masters
Title….

The next events staged by Ireland’s
Pub Players 8Ball Pool Tour will be at the 40,000 euros International Sports
Festival over the weekend of Friday 7th ----Sunday 9th
September 2007 when their will be three 8ball tournaments with good prize-money
up for grabs including the third Premier Event of the year the 2007 Connaught
Open 8Ball Pool Championship……
