North South 8Ball Pool Tour
Irish Pool Association and Ireland’s Pub Players 8-Ball Pool Tour has come together to set-up a new six event pool tour called North-South 8ball pool tour for under-18, ladies and under-21.……
The highest ranked player in each category will be selected straight into Ireland’s International Pool Team organised by Irish Pool Association for the 2009 World 8Ball Pool Championships in Blackpool and also selected for the Ireland’s International Pool Team for the 2010 European 8Ball Pool Championships.....
Players ranked 2, 3 and 4 in each category from the six tour events will be invited to the main trials along with other players from other tournaments organised by Irish Pool Association throughout the year in Wexford, Tipperary and Offaly…….(also open to member county players)
The dates is as follows:
Ladies:
Oct 25th 2008: (Tour Event 1) Fintona, Co. Tyrone
Nov 30th 2008: (Tour Event 2) Trim, Co. Meath
Dec 7th 2008: (Tour Event 3) Strabane, Co. Tyrone
Jan 18th 2009: (Tour Event 4) Milford, Co. Donegal
Feb 22nd 2009: (Tour Event 5) Dundalk, Co. Louth
Mar TBC (Tour Event 6) Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh
NOTE:----At each of the six playing venues stated above the ladies tournament will start at 12-noon with the draw taking place at 11-am the morning of the event but all players must pre-enter before the tournament date to be guaranteed entry.…….
Under-18 & Under-21:
Oct 26th 2008: (Tour Event 1) Fintona, Co. Tyrone
Nov 30th 2008: (Tour Event 2) Trim, Co. Meath
