Ireland’s Pub Players Darts Tour

A new individual darts tour is being set-up in different venues North and South of the border . The new tour is called “ Ireland's Pub Players Dart Tour ” which will see substantial prize-money on offer at each event.

There will a full tournament diary, reports, results, photo’s and a official set of rankings set in place for this Ireland's Pub Players Darts Tour which will be advertised on www.irishdarts.com . The format and list of rules are as follows:-

Rules:

The Pub Players Darts Tour will be played on a Saturday or Sunday. (trying not to clash)

Entries will be accepted up to 6-pm the night before each event.

The draw will me made on the night before each event.

Players can enter on the day of each event if places are available but will pay a extra £5.

A player doesn’t have to pay his money when entering his name by phone, but if he / she doesn’t turn up they will not be able to enter another competition until entry fees are paid up front. “NO EXCEPTIONS”

All matches will start at the best of 7 and step up as the tournament progresses.

Ranking - Points:

Ranking points will be received from the last-16 at each tournament venue and the ranking system will be used at each tournament .

Winner: 70 points, Runner-Up: 50, Semi-Finals: 30, ¼-Finals: 20, Last-16: 10

Merit points will also come into play at each tournament. Merit points is all the individual games each player wins throughout each tournament.

Dress - Code:

The dress code for the Pub Players Darts Tour is as follows:

Black Dress Trousers.

Any kind of polo or darts shirts.

No football shirts of any kind, no jeans, no round neck tee shirts or trainers.

NOTE: If any player appears or plays in the playing arena not wearing the proper dress code he / she will not be entitle to receive any prize-money. . . “No Exceptions will be given to any player”.

Tournaments:

I hope to have every tournament on the tour with in around £1000 prize-money (or more) when I get the tour up and running.

 

NOTE:

I also want to have the top 32 players in the rankings playing off for substantial prize-money at the end of each year. ……The official rankings for the Pub Players Darts Tour will only last for a period of three years each time…..with the next rankings starting in 2010
